I've heard from my grandfather, Willem Fokke Bernard Johannes' nephew, that when Johannes Hermanus Kramer went to register his newborn son at the
town hall, he went with two of his friends (the two witnesses). Froukje Mulder had instructed him that the child's name should be Willem.
Apparently they were already quite drunk when they arrived, and the friends asked Johannes if he wouldn't mind adding both their names to
"Willem", at which point Johannes realised he also wanted to add his name. The story goes that Froukje was not amused when she found out what they had done.
