• On Nov. 10th 1883, Job van Pernis was transfered from working in Poerwodadi and living in Semarang, to Batavia, as a 2nd class opzichter.

• Resignation from his position as 3rd class opzichter in November of 1888 , after which he and his wife and Maria moved back to the Netherlands.
